Kyle Cummings

I love love love Kyle Cummings. Not only because he is an amazing illustrator, but also because his blog is really interesting! He posts projects that he is working on, reviews books and movies, and just talks about his day-to-day life. He seems like an interesting kid, and his prints show his creativity and talent. I especially like his Lil' Kitchen and For the Birds collections. Check out his work here and his blog here.

Four Eyes

Portuguese designer Luís Porém created these awesome RGB Rainbow Glasses. They are sold as hollow glasses, and you can fill them with any water-based ink (or any liquid, really) to create your own colorful frames. You can change your look everyday to match your mood, clothes, etc. Too bad they haven't actually been produced so they aren't available yet.

WANT!

Pretty

Who says batteries can't be pretty? This design was done by the Stockholm Design Lab for a Japanese company called Askul. The SDL had some really cool work, although the stuff for Askul is by far my favorite. ch-ch-ch-ch-check it out.

Meomi Cloud House

Cute and fun website. Roam around for a while and check out all the little extras that they have. Their design is so fun! I wish that their online store was up. At least they have these cute wallpapers available.

Tis The Season

Today was a great day for a fall walk. I hope everyone took advantage of that! This picture expresses how I feel about the fall. I wish the weather was always like this. Is there a place where it always feels like fall? I think it's called heaven.

He's Shy...

It's funny cause it's creepy. So very, very creepy.

Library of Dust

There's a new book out my David Maisel called "Library of Dust". The photographs in this book are heartbreakingly beautiful. They are pictures of the remains of patients that died while at the Oregon State Insane Asylum, which closed over 30 years ago. The bodies of these patients were cremated and places in canisters, but some families failed to collect the remains. Dating back as far as the nineteenth century, the corrosion on these canisters create the most beautiful and vibrant colors. They're so pretty, you almost forget what's actually inside the canisters...almost.

Luggage....mmmmmmmm

For Christmas, I asked my parents for luggage. Since we live in different cities, they decided to just have me buy my luggage and they'll pay me back. That way, I don't have to try and find a way to get it back to Chicago. Today, I decided to just go "look" to get an idea of what I wanted. After a few disappointing stores, I wandered into Marshalls of all places, and found this. It's Tommy Hilfiger, but don't let that deter you. This picture doesn't do it justice. The colors are incredible. It's green, brown, and pink and I want to eat it. I got a set of 3, and since it was Marshalls the whole set cost less than just the smallest piece originally cost.

WINNER!!!

I Throw Myself At Men

Lilly McElroy is awesome. She has some funny videos on her website, but the highlight would have to be her project titled "I Throw Myself At Men". It consists of pictures where she goes up to men, and literally throws herself at them. Her photographer must have awesome timing, and she gets some killer air. Check it.

Pencil Me In

Jennifer Maestre is an artist who makes sculptures out of pencils and nails. They look so beautiful and dangerous at the same time. Check out her website to see more. She also has an Etsy site where you can order smaller pieces of her work.

Go Speed Racer, Go!

I've always had a very short attention span. If you want me to pay attention, you better make it fast. Click here to find some cool high speed photography. A few of my favorites are this egg, the Christmas ornament, and the water droplets. They're all pretty incredible, though.
